What I really found valuable in learning was sitting in the studio with experienced professionals (and it's been my priviledge to be there with some of the top artists, engineers and producers); watching (and HEARING) how they worked, learning how to get results practically, being able to ask questions, get advice directly, develop confidence in my own abilities working alongside them.
My approach to training is based on this, providing hands-on practical tutorials/demonstations as well as the necessary understanding of the theoreticel aspects involved.

To put things into perspective:

I aim (whatever your requirements are) to definitely put lasting value into your studio and your music recording skills, which you can use again and again for years to come.

In reality (on average) a few sessions with my knowledge, experience and skills will cost you around 5-10% of your total investment in studio equipment ... which REALLY IS value for money in improving the specification of your studio and expanding your own knowledge/experience/skills.
