Bio

Music and recording are my passions in life.

I started playing guitar and bass in bands at school & University, and became fascinated with the credits 'Engineered by...'. and 'Produced by...' on my favourite albums and singles. I then decided to pursue a creative career in audio, studios & music.

I worked in studios, progressing my way up to Chief Engineer & Studio Manager working with major artists and labels.
Then as a freelance Engineer/Producer I worked on many major/independent label projects, including number one albums and singles, and was awarded silver/gold
/platinum discs.

To share my passion I moved into education, teaching at universities/colleges and privately to professional & 'aspiring enthusiast' clients.

I still maintain practice and research in all my audio/musical interests, and have worked with varied genres from rock, classical, jazz, blues, pop, world, folk, funk, r'n'b, hiphop, rap (inc. grime, drill), ...
